Our Story

From Epiphany to Export Solutions

The idea of this business germinated in an unexpected place, in the unlikeliest of times. During the Covid lockdown, a casual weekend for our founder, which began with the plan for a documentary binge on the couch, turned into eye-opening revelation when he happened to chance upon a show named Poisoned – The dirty truth about your food. This documentary attempted to expose the reality behind the global food supply chain which was endangered by contamination and clouded by opacity. Other shows like Rotten and Food, Inc. further revealed similar patterns wherein unscrupulous players behind mass market production often compromised quality for convenience and profits.

The founder instantly felt a spark - a resolve to craft a supply network where origin could be traced from farm to formulation, where products reflected uncompromised quality and where global buyers could rely on premium and sustainably sourced ingredients. This resolve ultimately evolved into the blueprint for a new export venture called “Suvico International” which aims to cater to industries from fragrances and hospitality to cosmetics and nutraceuticals through export of essential oils and fruit & veggie dehydrates from India.

Our Business Philosophy

Purpose, Sustainability & Collaboration

At Suvico International, our core philosophy is inspired by 2 timeless concepts found in ancient Indian scriptures — Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and Parasparam Bhavayantah — principles that define both our purpose and our promise.

The concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family) emphasises the interconnectedness and dependency of all beings inhabiting this planet, thus encouraging businesses to adopt a holistic view and shift focus from just profits to collective well-being, fair resource distribution and inclusive welfare of all stakeholders involved in running the business as well as the global community at large. Anchored by this belief, our commitment to ethical sourcing, environmental stewardship and waste reduction reflects our intentions on how we seek to nourish global communities while safeguarding natural resources for future generations.

The principle of Parasparam Bhavayantah (Mutual cooperation) teaches us that meaningful progress is never achieved in isolation. Guided by this philosophy, we aim to foster a collaborative ecosystem where we celebrate the success and economic prosperity of our international partners as well as of our vendors and employees. Every relationship we build is grounded in transparency, trust and collective advancement.
